Craft Beer Is the Devil’s Craft

Be SOBER, be vigilant; because Your Adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour…I Peter 5:8 (KJB)

Jesus never drank booze  –  He drank the fruit of the vine…Grape Juice.  (Matt. 26:29)

The Disciples never drank booze  –  They drank “new wine”…Grape Juice.  (Acts 2:13)

John the Baptist never drank booze  –  “and he was great in the sight of the Lord”  (Luke 1:15)

Lot drank booze  –  and committed immorality and incest.  (Genesis 19:30-38)

Ben-Hadad drank booze  –  and lost a war to an inferior force.  (I Kings 20:15-21)

Back Slidden Israelites drank booze  –  and lost their kingdom.  (Isaiah 28:1-8)

Bwahahaha!! You morons didn’t think this through to well, did you? I absolutely love that the Imperial Taproom is experiencing a HUGE increase in business as a result of your myopic, ill-advised attempt at shaming them through the local newspaper. As someone who was raised in the Christian faith, and who – through the crucible of higher education and a yearning for self-discovery and critical thinking and logic skills – finally cast off the oppression of blind faith in a busted religion, I wholeheartedly applaud how the operators of Imperial Taproom have used your idiotic attempt to harm them to increase their business. I especially love how they did it without malice or hatred, just a light hearted and fun little promotion. You know us critical thinkers are all laughing at you, right? You people are the pharisees. Morons.

    • Thank you for your response. As a college student you probably learned that the most important thing in higher education is the free exchange of ideas. I was not attempting to shame any one but rather to warn them about a coming judgment. I do not care about how much money the Taproom makes but they should, for every dollar and every penny they make will be a witness against them for James 5:1-3 says “Go to now ye rich men, weep an howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.” and Habakkuk 2:15 says “Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look upon their nakedness!” Your critical thinking has not freed you from religion but traded whatever you had for the religion of secular humanism. I threw off the fetters of religion when I received Christ as a real and living Saviour and received a personal relationshop with the one true God. My heart’s desire is that you may put off the blinders of Satan and really get to know God instead of religion. Don’t forget that critical thinking implodes on itself every 20 years. But the Bible has stood the test of time and survived the attacks of centuries. P.S. A college educated mind should have a more extensive vocabulary that doesn’t have to resort to words like “moron”. Proverbs 18:2 “A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.”

In Heaven there is no beer. That’s why we drink it here. And when we’re gone from here, our friends will be drinking all the beer!

    • Thank you for your input Joe. This is from the Beer Drinking Polka, an old world dance, the kind of music my grandmother used to listen to. I can’t imagine why someone with a German surname would be interested in beer:). Part of those lyrics above say and when we’re not here. When you no longer walk this earth and go to your “long home”, to eternity will it be heaven? Please consider this carefully and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
